This tall fellow when full grown eats over 100 lbs of leaves and twigs every day. The male giraffe growes taller than the female. The females grow to 14 feet tall and weigh up to 1500 lbs and the males grow up to 18 feet tall and weigh up to 3000 lbs. The giraffe's neck alone is 6 feet long and weights about 600 lbs and the legs are 6 feet long. Their tongues are 21 inches long, their feet are 12 iches across. They also are "big hearted" which is 2 feet long and weight about 25 lbs. Their lungs can hold 12 gallons of air whereas human beings capacity 1.59 gallons.
